Sheryl is an animator living in Vancouver, BC Canada. Driven and passionate, She attended Vancouver Film School to learn as much as she could about both the creative and business side of the animation industry. As a result, she graduated from the Foundation Visual Art & Design, Classical Animation, Entertainment Business Management and 3D Animation & Visual Effects programs. She has earned numerous acclamation such as the 2011 Teletoon at Night: Pilot Project award for her animated short film ‘Great Minds Taste Alike’, raised $15,000+ for the Child’s Play charity, and won the Difference Maker Award for ‘Power Up: Music to Game By’ at the Spring 2012 Impact Awards!

Vedamani’s short zombie-inspired film Great Minds Taste Alike won the English-language component of the contest, earning her $10,000 as well as exposure on air and in theatres, including a trip for two to North America’s largest animation conference and festival, the Television Animation Conference and Ottawa International Animation Festival.
